CLARK FREEPORT---The Philippine’s leading airline Cebu Pacific (CEB) goes the extra mile by offering special travel rates in the North Luzon Travel Expo this coming November 13-15, 2009 at SM Clark. This is valid for travel November 16, 2009 to March 23, 2010.
During the expo, CEB passengers can book and buy outright Clark-Macau, Clark-Hong Kong, Clark-Singapore, Clark-Bangkok and Clark-Cebu flights at their lowest possible fares.
The lowest possible fares for one-way flights from Clark to Macau, Singapore and Hong Kong start at P1,899, while Clark-Bangkok flights can go for P2,899. These rates are not valid for travel on embargo dates.
Meanwhile, the lowest possible fares on inter-island flights from Manila, Cebu and Davao are based on availability. CEB has the most extensive network in the Philippines with 32 domestic destinations.
“We are doing this to promote CEB’s Clark hub, and further develop Clark as a tourist destination and jump-off point to the rest of North Luzon. There are a lot of travelers in this area who will really benefit from CEB’s trademark low fares and quality low cost carrier offerings,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.
She added that CEB recently sponsored sales agents from Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore to attend the Travel Market Exchange (TRAMEX) in Clark last November 6, 2009. The airline also includes its 30 kilos free baggage allowance (FBA) promotion for Clark international flights until December 31, 2009 in most of its print advertisements in the Philippines.
“We are doing our best to push for more inbound and outbound travel via the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA). The Clark 30 kilos FBA promo is ongoing and is a great incentive, especially to anyone traveling during the holiday season,” Iyog said.
Asia’s third-largest low-cost carrier CEB was the first domestic airline to base its operations in Clark last November 2008. Aside from the current six times weekly Clark-Hong Kong, and four times weekly Clark-Macau services, it will fly thrice weekly Clark-Bangkok and daily Clark-Singapore flights starting December 12, 2009.
