Sun Cellular provided Tarelco II a service called Sun Message Cast, which is a web-based messaging service that allows a company to send and broadcast text message to one or multiple recipients across all networks. With this Sun service, Tarelco II can now readily inform the public of any power maintenance and/or interruption within the locality. All Tarelco II consumers who will register to Sun Message Cast will then be notified of the power situation for the day. Registrants need not be Sun Cellular subscribers. They can be from other networks too!

At present, Tarelco II has more than 75,000 consumers who are encouraged to register to the Sun Message Cast. This innovative service is also used by Tarelco II for schedules of meetings with their 13 Central Luzon Electric Cooperatives.
