Oca opens 11th Integrated School

CITY OF SAN FERNANDOMayor Oscar Rodriguez led July 29 the city government in the soft opening of the newest Integrated School located at Northville 14 relocation site.

Hundreds of residents, students, and school staff graced this event while waving their yellow flaglets and chanting the name of the mayor to show their gratitude for the establishment of the 3 storey school building.

The Northville 14 integrated school is the 11th school built under the leadership of three-term Rodriguez. It houses 663 elementary and 1,200 high school students all coming from poor families.

A highlight of the morning program was the awarding of 8 units of deep well pumps donated by the members of Fil-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc and the giving of school supplies to the students.

For his part, Rodriguez said that it is his ultimate dream that every Fernandino will enjoy to their right to education. He also said that poverty is never a hindrance for one to succeed in life.

Thus, putting education as a priority of his administration.

Rodriguez also said that he is planning the creation of a covered court and a building extension for the school.
